What is the Five-Fold Ministry of Jesus Christ?
In Ephesians 4:11-12, the bible states:
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ
To understand the five-fold ministry, you must first understand the five ministries that constitute the five-fold.
- APOSTLE
- PROPHET
- PASTOR
- EVANGELIST
- TEACHER
The purpose of the five-fold is that Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers are supposed to work together in the local church to carry out the mission and vision of God.
